Dave Lovell is the long time head coach and boxing trainer of Leon Rocky Edwards. This was filmed in the camp for Leons fight against Nate Diaz (full vlogs up on the channel). This video was obviously made purely for entertainment; Dave is a real character and full of laughs! After Leons recent title win he has a bit of attention on him due to his emphatic corner advice, but; he is humble in nature and has never tried to seek the spotlight. He's been in boxing for around 40 years and raised two talented sons through boxing, Aaron and Jordan Lovell, that both had extensive amateur experience as juniors. Aaron also became a successful amateur MMA fighter, at one point 10-0, as well as boxing professionally. Dave has coached many good amateur fighters over the years and has ran clubs in the Birmingham area for a long time. He's from tough beginnings but became a real pillar in the community due to his guidance through boxing. He's helped give structure, routine, and discipline to many young men that may have otherwise gone down the wrong path!
