Patience. That's Dixie Frantz's main advice for anyone undergoing cancer treatment. Dixie's husband Rick was diagnosed with stage IV kidney cancer. There was a large tumor on his left kidney and smaller tumors in both lungs, liver, chest area and several areas in the bone. Rick received his treatment at MD Anderson, including a promising immunotherapy clinical trial. Through all the treatments, Dixie had to remind herself to be patient. Appointments, blood work, therapy...it all takes time, so you must have faith in the doctors and the staff that they have your best interest at heart. Read more about Dixie and Rick
