Explosive Lightweight MMA showdown at ONE Friday Fights 112 in Lumpinee Stadium! Russian powerhouse Kasim Magomedshapiev made a stunning promotional debut against Japan’s resilient Hidenari Saijo. Saijo started on the front foot with clean jab-cross combinations, but Magomedshapiev instantly replied with a spinning back kick to the midsection and a pinpoint front kick upstairs. As Saijo retreated, the undefeated Russian unloaded a crushing left hook flush to the chin that sent his foe crashing to the canvas. Two ground strikes followed, forcing the referee to wave off the contest at just 0:33 of round one!
